SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions (“SMS Terms”) govern the text messaging services offered by ToothSnap for patient phone verification when submitting a second-opinion request.
1. Program Description
ToothSnap sends a one-time SMS verification code only after a patient affirmatively requests the code to submit a second-opinion request. This patient flow does not send SMS marketing messages.
2. Message Frequency
One verification message is sent per request, plus any resends the user requests.
3. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details. ToothSnap does not charge you to receive SMS messages, but your carrier may.
4. Opt-In
Participation is voluntary. Before requesting a code, the user must check an unchecked consent box on the second-opinion request form. By checking that box and selecting the button to request a verification code, the user asks ToothSnap to send the code to the mobile number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.
5. Opt-Out
To stop receiving SMS messages, reply STOP to any message from us. After you send STOP, no further verification messages will be sent unless permitted by your later request and applicable messaging rules.

7. Supported Carriers
Supported carriers may include major U.S. wireless carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
Your mobile phone number is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in or consent data are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose information to service providers acting on our behalf when necessary to deliver the requested verification message and service.
9. Changes
We may update these SMS Terms at any time. The updated terms will be posted at this URL with a revised “Last updated” date.
